50 Premier League games left on Sky Sports this season

Viewers in Ireland can watch the crunch games from top and bottom of the table

Sky Sports still has 50 Barclays Premier League matches to showcase this season and is set to capture the best of the action.

Sky Sports subscribers can enjoy seven live games in March while at least three games a weekend will be featured during the final eight rounds of fixtures.

This means viewers in Ireland will be able to see every important kick featuring teams at both ends of the table as the season races towards its climax.

“Players always refer to March and April as the months when teams make their move, and when they do that Sky Sports will have it covered,” said Sky Sports’ Head of Football Gary Hughes.

“With 50 games still to come this season on Sky Sports we know that the defining moments will be on our screens.”

March fixtures revealed

During March, Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur on Sky Sports and travel for a fiercely contested derby against Liverpool. Brendon Rogers’ men will want to avenge the 3-0 defeat suffered at the hands of Louis Van Gaal’s team in December while title-chasing Chelsea will host Ronald Koeman’s high-flying Southampton side who showed their skill in recent victories over Arsenal and United.

The Blues’ trip to Hull City completes the month’s showing while high-flyers West Ham welcome Sunderland to East London.

Battles from both ends of the table

Defending champions Manchester City kick-off the March fixtures when they visit Turf Moor to play Burnley. The Clarets came from two down to rescue a point at City’s Etihad stadium in December and Sean Dyche’s men will fancy their chances of another upset. More than 30 live games are set for the final two months of the season with Sky Sports subscribers gaining access to more than three quarters of all live televised games and meaning viewers in Ireland will witness all the pivotal moments if the title-chase goes down to the wire.

Next up on Sky’s Premier League calendar is a potential title-decider between Chelsea and Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on 31 January.
