Free Sky Sports for full day on August 16th

Open day allows Sky and UPC viewers experience 7 Sky Sports channels at no extra cost

This weekend, Sky Sports are celebrating the launch of their newest channel, Sky Sports 5, as well as the start of the new Premier League season, by offering free Sky Sports access to all Sky and UPC digital TV customers.

All seven of the Sky Sports channels will be available to watch at no cost for a period of 24 hours on Saturday 16th August 2014; the day the new Premier League campaign gets under way.

It also marks the first weekend of coverage provided by the new Sky Sports 5 channel, which launched on 14th August.

Beginning at 6am on Saturday, the Sky Sports Open Day will run until 5.59am on the 17th August.

Key events available to new Sky Sports viewers will include the Premier League clash between Arsenal and Crystal Palace (Sky Sports 1 - 17.30), PGA Golf (Sky Sports 4 - 18.00), Dutch football coverage (Sky Sports 5 - 17.30) and the Gillette Soccer Saturday live football scores programme (Sky Sports News HQ - 12.00).
