Back-to-school time is in full swing now, with everyone settling back into their routines again after the summer holidays.

For many secondary level students across the country, thoughts of the Junior or Leaving Certificate could be starting to come into focus, especially if they’re going into an exam year.

We all know how useful it is to have a little bit of help when it comes to studying, and with that in mind, eir StudyHub could be of interest to parents of students heading into the Junior or Leaving Cert cycle.

Basically, eir StudyHub is an online resource for secondary-level students, and it contains:

  • free online access to over 400 hours of video and audio tutorials;
  • over 375 tutorials in both higher and ordinary level Leaving and Junior Cert subjects; and
  • content prepared by expert tutors and teachers.

Each subject is split into ‘tutorial packs’, which contain a video eLesson, a video of an exam model answer, downloadable lesson notes, and an audio version of the eLesson.

More information, help and support is also available through forums and FAQ pages on the site. eir StudyHub also contains past exam papers and solutions.

And now for the important bit - eir StudyHub comes completely free of charge for eir broadband customers. They will be able to access the content via desktop, or through an app on their smartphone or tablet.

If you’re an existing eir broadband customer, you simply need to go to the website to sign up. If you’re not yet a customer, but you’re interested in eir StudyHub, you can access a free one-day trial via eir’s website to see what it’s all about.
