Sky’s TV box set collection continues to grow, with the addition of several high-profile shows becoming available before Christmas.

Award-winning dramas are available for the company’s Entertainment Extra + customers, including Series 1 and 2 of Game of Thrones and the complete Sopranos collection.

Sky subscribers in Ireland can also take their pick of where they watch the action unfold, with the box sets available on Sky Go, as well as via a Sky HD box.

Other classics including I’m Alan Partridge, An Idiot Abroad and Boardwalk Empire are also set to become available as Sky expands its services.

Leading shows from the British comedy scene such as The Inbetweeners, Derek and Extras will also hit the screens, guaranteed to spread laughter across the nation.

For those who prefer mysterious thrillers and crime tales, the likes of Poirot and Mrs. Biggs are available, alongside American cult classics like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Blue Bloods.

Luke Bradley-Jones, Sky’s brand director of TV products, said the latest offerings were in place to ensure that nobody misses out on the greatest and latest shows to hit the big screen.

“We know how important it is for our customers to have the flexibility to watch the shows everyone is talking about when it suits them,” he said.

“So whether you missed out on the moves of McNulty in The Wire first time around, or just want some pure escapism by indulging on the complete series of Mad Men, you’ll find it on your Sky+ box, ready for you whenever you are.”

Mr. Bradley-Jones added that Sky+HD customers can enjoy all of the on demand services by connecting their set-top box to broadband.
