New and existing Sky customers can now look forward to some substantial cost savings with the announcement of the company’s latest promotional offers.

The digital TV, broadband and home phone provider is offering a new six month discount price for households signing up for any Sky TV, broadband and calls package.

New Sky customers can now benefit from the lowest triple play offer in Ireland with Sky TV, broadband Lite and Calls now available from €45 per month for the first six months with the price then reverting to its original cost of €57 per month after that.

Similarly new customers can now sign up to triple play packages with unlimited broadband from as little as €55 for the first 6 months with the cost rising to €67 for the remainder of the duration of the contract.

Customers can expect to save a total of €72 over a 6 month period, with the new six month discount offer, regardless of which triple play Sky package they choose to sign up to.

Each Sky broadband, talk and TV bundle comes with a free Sky+ box and free standard setup enabling customers to save a further €79. Inclusive line rental and a free wireless Sky Hub router, which can be used to get online anywhere in the home are also included with the new offer.

These new customer, TV, broadband and call offers are available online for a limited period from  today and will end on the 8th August 2013.

New offer for existing Sky customers

In addition to its latest new customer offers, Sky also introduced a very attractive new offer for current existing Sky customers. Looking to entice more Sky TV customers to its broadband service, the company has launched a 3 months half price special promotion for each Sky broadband and calls package.

Current existing Sky customers who opt to sign up to Sky broadband and calls can now get three months half price with Sky Broadband Lite & Talk Freetime and Sky Broadband Unlimited & Talk Freetime.

This works out at €15 and €20 per month for the first three months with the price returning to €30 and €40 per month respectively after the initial 3 month period has elapsed.

For customers who might prefer the Sky Broadband Lite & Talk Anytime or Sky Broadband Unlimited & Talk Anytime bundles, they will still be able to avail of the three months half price on broadband but the price of the calls package – Sky Talk Anytime, will remain at €7.50. This existing customer offer ends on 29th of August.

These latest price reductions will come as good news to Irish broadband and digital TV consumers. Sky’s launch of their broadband service earlier this year, has brought some healthy and welcome competition to the market. More providers are introducing new and improved offers than ever before and this trend for looks set to continue throughout the rest of 2013.
