Sky has revealed its latest set of hard-hitting television shows to hit the screens this October and November.

With a variable list of dramas, documentaries and movies to tickle all the senses, there really is something for everyone.

The biggest news is the long-awaited return of The Walking Dead to Sky 1 in mid-October, with plenty of twists and turns expected following the highly dramatic ending to the third series.

Series Four sees the Governor more determined than ever to get revenge as Rick and the rest of the survivors battle for their very existence against the zombie hordes.

Meanwhile, Yonderland, from the stars of Horrible Histories, hits the screens of Sky viewers in November with a mix of actors and puppets!

The family friendly sitcom follows a mum who ends up in a world filled with eccentric – and often idiotic – characters who view her as “the special one”.

Sky Atlantic

November also sees Sky Atlantic take things up a notch with a series of documentaries detailing the most compelling tales of the modern world.

Man Hunt, details the two-decade long hunt for Osama Bin Laden – the world’s most notorious terrorist.

Featuring recollections and testimony – much of which is for the very first time – Manhunt offers an insight into the world of terrorism and what was being done to combat it.

Meanwhile, the Act of Killing travels into the minds of serial killers as Joshua Oppenheimer’s documentary questions the morality of a country yet to deal with its bloody history.

Movies and Sports

Sky Movies also has some great offerings too, as Yann Martel’s novel is brought to the big screen in stunning style in the Life of Pi.

Zookeeper’s son Pi Patel finds himself stranded in the Pacific when a ship sinks in a storm, forcing him to share a lifeboat with a massive Bengal Tiger named Richard Parker.

Sky Movies also premieres Gangster Squad as soldier turned cop John O’Mara tackles crime in America with brutal consequences.

Sky Sports has the Grand Slam of Darts to enjoy and the WWE Survivor Series, not to mention all the very best action from the Premier League and the F1 Championship.
