Sky Sports kicks-off 2015 with ten live Barclays Premier League matches

Chelsea host reigning champions Manchester City in January showpiece fixture

Sky Sports has added ten live Barclays Premier league matches to its fixture list for 2015, providing Sky Sports customers with more of the games that matter.

The turn of the year marks the halfway point in the current season while January will provide reigning champions Manchester City with tough tests against both Arsenal and Chelsea.

The ten games will feature 15 teams from the Barclays Premier League, with Sky Sports customers set to see live coverage of a further 47 games between February and May.

Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea – the early pace setters of the current campaign – feature just once in January when they host Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.

The face-off at the Etihad earlier in the season saw Chelsea legend Frank Lampard return to haunt his former employers as City rescued a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile Ronald Koeman’s Southampton have been a revelation in the opening months and Sky Sports customers will be able to watch the Saints in action on three occasions.

Trips to Old Trafford and St James’ Park to face Manchester United and Newcastle respectively will both be shown live, as will their February home encounter with Swansea at St Mary’s.

Arsenal is live on Sky Sports three times at the start of 2015, when they host Stoke City and Aston Villa, alongside a trip to Manchester City.

The season’s other surprise package – Sam Allardyce’s West Ham side – host Hull City while a London derby sees Tottenham Hotspur visit Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in the first match of the new Sky Sports live schedule.

Furthermore, Everton welcome West Bromwich Albion and in-form striker Saido Berahino – fresh from his England call-up – to Goodison Park for the month’s only Monday Night Football.

Sky Sports live coverage of the Barclays Premier League gives viewers the chance to see every twist and turn that affects sides at both ends of the table.
