Sky Sports will be showcasing the Guinness Pro12 this season broadcasting 33 matches, including both semi-finals and the final that will be played over the last weekend in May.

Live coverage on Sky Sports begins on Saturday 6th September with a double header that includes champions Leinster taking on Glasgow Warriors at the Scotstoun Stadium in a repeat of last season’s final and last year’s semi-finalists Ulster travelling to Scarlets.

The clash between Munster and Leinster on Saturday 4th October will also be exclusively broadcast live from the the Aviva.

Other highlights of Sky’s schedule include Glasgow Warriors v Edinburgh Rugby and Ospreys v Scarlets on December 27th over the popular Christmas period.

“The Guinness Pro12 will complement our Heineken and Amlin Challenge Cup coverage and provide viewers with an unrivalled diet of rugby union,” Barney Francis, Managing Director of Sky Sports, said when the deal was struck.

Sky, a leading phone, TV and broadband provider, will be making the games available on TV, PC or through a tablet or mobile device on Sky Go.

Sky TV customers with one of the Sky Sports packages will be treated to some world class live rugby coverage this year in the Guinness Pro 12. This year’s competition shows promise to be harder fought than in any previous season.
