A hat-trick of the best Sky Sports channels are now available in high definition via UPC Ireland, meaning Irish fans will be treated to enhanced sports coverage.

Sky Sports 3, Sky Sports 4 and Sky Sports 5 will all be available in the improved format, so customers can be sure that they don’t miss a single minute of the sports they love.

As well as La Liga, Scottish Premier League and Dutch Eredivisie action, UPC Ireland customers will also be able to catch the Champion’s League on Sky Sports HD.

Other events, including the ATP Tour and golf from the Volvo World Match Play Championship, will also be available as part of Sky Sports HD’s extensive sports coverage.

UPC Ireland customers can find Sky Sports 3 on channel 434, Sky Sports 4 on channel 435 and Sky Sports 5 on channel 436.

David Kent, Content Manager at UPC, said the company was “delighted” to be able to offer a wide range of sporting channels but added that they would not be “resting on our laurels”.

“We‘re continually strengthening our TV packages to make sure we’re bringing Irish TV viewers the best sporting action from across the globe, in the highest possible quality,” he said.

UPC Ireland is currently offering Sky Sports for €1 a month for all new Horizon TV customers, while existing Horizon customers with home phone or broadband can get the deal by upgrading to Horizon Triple Play.

Sky Sports HD can also be added at an additional cost of €5 for new customers.
