Broadband and digital TV provider launches €2m Horizon TV marketing campaign
UPC Ireland has launched its largest ever marketing campaign to showcase the level of sports choice available via its Horizon TV service.
The €2 million campaign provides extensive TV and radio advertising on the main national channels, showing how UPC customers can benefit from the service.
Some 45% of the budget will target broadcasting while the remainder will be spent on print, digital and outdoor forms.
‘Plage’ by Crystal Fighters provides a catchy tune to accompany the broadcast campaign, while UPC Ireland will also focus on radio station sponsorship for the first time.
Premier League coverage on Off the Ball, Newstalk’s flagship sports programme, will be sponsored by UPC Ireland as part of the campaign.
Customers can benefit from the campaign as Sky Sports will be available at just €1 for six months for new Horizon TV customers.
This will also include current UPC broadband customers who wish to take advantage of TV, broadband and phone bundles by upgrading to a Horizon Triple Play bundle.
As a result, UPC customers using the deal will be able to save €204, based on the current prices for Sky Sports.
