Following the launch of Virgin Media’s mobile handsets, ‘superfast’ 4g and freestyle mobile plans last month, the company has another addition for its mobile customers.

From today, Virgin Media is offering Virgin Mobile customers free and unlimited Wi-Fi access at over 900 Bitbuzz locations across Ireland and the UK.

This new addition to the Virgin Mobile offering will really appeal to any customers who haven’t opted for an unlimited data plan, as it means they can save their data but still stay connected when they’re on the move.

Bitbuzz Wi-Fi, which is owned by Virgin Media, is available at coffee chains like Insomnia and Costa Coffee, as well as various hotels and pubs around the country.

Any Virgin Mobile customers with a Wi-Fi enabled phone can access the free Wi-Fi by completing a once-off registration at a Bitbuzz Wi-Fi hotspot.
