Energia and Newstalk’s The Right Hook to “kick start” Irish SMEs

Energia has teamed up with George Hook to help Irish SMEs cut energy usage and costs

Energia is the new sponsor of “Kick Start Your Business” on The Right Hook.

As part of the arrangement with Newstalk, Energia has launched a dedicated resource for Irish businesses, energiahub.ie, which offers essential information and practical advice for SMEs on how to reduce energy usage and costs, as well as a host of business related podcasts and videos.

Energia, which has been in operation in Ireland since 1999, has over 60,000 business customers, representing 26% of the overall Irish business electricity and gas market.

The sponsorship deal with run for the next six months and gives Irish businesses a chance to win €1,000 every month to invest in business growth and/or energy efficiency programmes.

Speaking about their sponsorship relationship, Mr Alan Mulcahy, Business Markets Manager for Energia said: “This new hub offers essential information and practical advice like this for SMEs that they can use every day to help power their business, regardless of size.

We estimate most businesses can reduce their energy usage by 20% by making a few simple changes.
