Energia extend 18% dual fuel discount for another month

Energia’s SAVEME dual fuel discount promotion now available until 30th September

Energia has announced it will extend its summer saving dual fuel offer.

The popular discount enables new customers who switch online to Energia’s SmartChoice Dual Fuel tariff using the special SAVEME promo-code to save up to 18% on their electricity and 17% on their gas.

This means Energia continues to be the cheapest gas and electricity supplier in Ireland on average. Customers switching to their SmartChoice Dual Fuel tariff could save up to €321 in their first year.

The original promotion was set to end at the end of August but Energia has extended the offer for another month.

Geoff Codd, Head of Marketing, Energia said, “Thousands of householders have already taken advantage of this unbeatable dual fuel offer from Energia – that’s why we’ve decided to extend it through the expensive back-to-school period.

“Our Dual Fuel Offer allows Irish homes to reduce their energy costs by up to 18%. This adds up to a super saving of €325 on the average yearly bill, which could come in handy as temperatures fall and days shorten.

“When we entered the home energy market in January, we made a commitment to always be competitive on price. We are very encouraged by the reaction we have been receiving from Irish households. Energia’s home electricity and gas offer is attracting thousands of switchers every month. They are joining the tens of thousands of schools, shops and offices around Ireland who have already made the move to Energia.”
