Price cuts and new energy discounts

The energy market has become more and more competitive and this trend is set to continue in 2016. There has never been a better time for customers to switch energy providers.

Today, Flogas announced a 2.5% price cut for gas customers which will come into effect on 1 February, Electric Ireland cut gas prices on 1 January and SSE Airtricity is cutting electricity their prices on 11 January.

In addition to impending supplier price cuts, it’s likely that other gas and electricity suppliers will follow Energia’s lead in the coming weeks with the introduction of new and more attractive discounted energy deals.
