Switcher achieve 3rd year CER Accreditation
Consumers can continue to switch in confidence with Switcher.
As of March 10th 2016, Switcher has achieved CER accreditation for the third year in a row. This means that, as always, you can trust Switcher as an independent, impartial and correct source of information to use when searching for accurate comparisons of Irish energy suppliers.
The CER Accreditation, which is managed by the Irish energy market regulator the Commission for Energy Regulation, is a voluntary code of practice for online domestic price comparison services designed to help make the switching process easier, more reliable and provide reassurance for consumers. Requirements include independence, impartiality, the fair presentation of tariffs, and the accuracy of information presented.
Eoin Clarke, Managing Director of Switcher, said: “Switcher is committed to providing straightforward comparison tools with accurate energy calculations, to help consumers find the best energy deals in the market. Achieving accreditation from the Commission for Energy Regulation for the third year running is confirmation that when consumers visit Switcher.ie, they are receiving accurate, impartial information when comparing products in the energy market.
“This is really important for us, and for our customers, and we’re delighted to have the official stamp of approval for the third year running.”
