UPC announce new price changes from May 31st 2013
Internet service provider UPC has announced a number of pricing changes across its full range of services
These latest price changes will take effect from May 31st 2013 and will affect all UPC customers, regardless of service subscription.
For the most part these price changes will involve an increase, although in some cases, there will also be a welcome decrease.
UPC recently announced a string of improvements to its service, including enhancements to its broadband network so that approximately 300,000 customers can avail of a minimum download speeds of 50Mbps. UPC also announced the introduction of its Horizon TV service in Ireland. This new interactive facility will enable customers to access up to 45 channels online, and on multiple devices free of charge.
UPC sources have indicated that these price changes can be attributed to UPC’s widespread continuous investment, to provide customers with the best combined TV viewing and broadband experience on offer. Customers can expect to pay an increase of €2.40 per month on average, depending on their type of service subscription. A full list of price changes can be viewed on UPC’s website.
All UPC customers will be notified of the price alterations, a few weeks in advance of the impending changes.
