UPC boosts business for North Dublin with superfast broadband
UPC Business provides fibre power broadband speeds of 100Mbps to Fingal Dublin Chamber
UPC Business today announced that it has supplied fibre power broadband to Fingal Dublin Chamber at its building located in Swords, giving access to superfast download speeds of 100Mbps.
UPC Business and Fingal Dublin Chamber are joining forces in order to take a collaborative approach towards supporting the local business community in North Dublin. This initiative will also ensure a boost for local SMEs.
The enhancement of telecommunications services will also see the introduction of static IP address, as well as a range of telephony services including four telephone lines to serve the office.
The new services will be available across the site for its five officers, staff, and council, as well as the businesses they support.
Tony Lambert, Chief Executive, Fingal Dublin Chamber said, “Our mission is to support our members, the businesses of the Fingal region, to network, connect and engage in order to grow their businesses. Communications is an important part of this as the provision of proper infrastructure such as broadband will enable them to succeed.”
The introduction of the new services will not only be a boost for the Chamber itself but also for the businesses of North Dublin.
Gary David Jordan, SME Senior Manager at UPC Ireland said, “We are delighted to be bringing the benefits of our Business Fibre-Powered, high-speed broadband to Fingal Dublin Chamber. The introduction of the new services will not only be a boost for the Chamber itself but also for the businesses of North Dublin.”
“We have invested over half a billion euro upgrading our fibre power network to world class standards. We’re constantly improving the performance of our products and the affordability of our digital services so that they offer real benefits and real value for SMEs across the country.”
UPC Business is a key sponsor of the ITLG Silicon Valley Global Tech Summit will take place on Tuesday May 26 in the Helix, Dublin City University. The keynote address will be delivered by Minister Michael Noonan, T.D.
