Vodafone broadband customer base increases by 10%

Vodafone Ireland today announced a 10% increase in their fixed-line voice and broadband customer base.

The company published its financial performance figures for the fourth quarter ending 31 March, 2015.

Vodafone has continued to invest strongly in converged communications devices in recent months.

It also progressed its €450 million fibre to the home (FTTH) joint venture initiative with the ESB, SIRO, which is bringing high speed broadband to 50 towns across Ireland.

Vodafone Ireland CEO Anne O’Leary said: “In a highly competitive market, our performance demonstrates a continued improvement in trends during the year proving the effectiveness of our strategy which is to become the total communications provider of choice in the Irish market.”
