What do I get with Vodafone TV
Vodafone TV is available in two options:
- Vodafone TV
- Vodafone TV Plus
The basic entry-level package Vodafone TV, comes with 56 entertainment channels including all the BBC’s, RTE’s, Channel 4 and TV3 channels.
Vodafone TV Plus is slightly more expensive, but offers 24 additional channels, including a wider variety of news and documentary, sports, movies and kids channels.
Both packages include a free Vodafone TV Box, which lets you pause and rewind live TV, catch up on your favourite shows from the beginning with Startover TV or from the last week with its 7 Day Catch Up service.
The dedicated set-top box comes with a highly rated electronic program guide (EPG) allowing customers to scroll through channels and menus in seconds.
With Vodafone TV, viewers are able to record 2 shows at the same time while watching another, or record entire series at the touch of a button.
The set-top box can store 300 hours of standard definition content or 165 hours of high definition programming.
Viewers also have the option of adding additional multiroom boxes to watch Vodafone TV in any number of rooms in the house.
Who can get Vodafone TV?
The TV service is delivered through Vodafone's superfast fibre broadband network via a technology known as Internet Protocol Television (IPTV).
It’s available to all customers living in a fibre broadband enabled location and for those who are able to get a minimum broadband connection speed of 40Mbps.
To subscribe to Vodafone TV customers will need to sign up to one of its broadband packages, Simply Broadband, Home Essentials or Home Unlimited as part of a monthly broadband & TV or triple play subscription.
Sports, Movies & Netflix
Each Vodafone TV package comes with a choice of a free add on for 6 months. Subscribers can opt to select either a 6 month free subscription to Netflix or the Setanta Sports package with the basic Vodafone TV package.
Subscribers to the Vodafone TV Plus package can choose two options, with either Netflix, Setanta Sports or access to Vodafone's Multiroom service free for 6 months.
Sports and Movie lovers can also add full monthly subscription premium add on packages such as:
