Grab your latest energy bill - to get the best comparison results, it is important to enter your details accurately.

Select your current energy supplier and price plan. You will find the name of your energy price plan on your bill. Many energy price plans include introductory discounts on your standard unit rate, we may ask you when you signed up to your current price plan so we take into account any expiring discounts when calculating your results.

Independent and accurate calculations

Switcher is accredited by the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) as an impartial, accurate and independent supplier of energy price comparisons.

The tariff prices listed on Switcher are the same as other price comparison websites andyou won’t find a cheaper deal direct with suppliers, because Switcher is accredited by the CER, the Irish energy market regulator.

NightSaver Meters

A NightSaver Meter is a special meter that has two dials. The first dial records the number of electricity units used during the day and the second dial records the number of electricity units used at night. Customers on a NightSaver tariffs are charged a discounted rate for electricity used at night. We need to know if you have a NightSaver Meter in order to make sure we compare the correct tariff and show you the most accurate saving.
