Compare Panda energy

Panda launched in Ireland in 2015 as a green electricity supplier, providing a variety of electricity and gas plans.

Panda exits the Irish energy market

Panda decided to exit the Irish energy market in September, 2022. Panda waste and recycling customers won’t be affected. If you are an electricity or gas customer, there will be no disruption to your supply. You have two options:

  • Switch to a new supplier: You will have up to, and including, the 28th of September 2022 to switch to a new energy supplier. You won’t be subject to exit or transfer fees.
  • Do nothing: If you don’t switch, you’ll be automatically transferred to one of the CRU’s designated suppliers; Electric Ireland or Bord Gáis Energy, from the 30th of September, 2022.

If you don’t switch, could be required to stay with this designated supplier for a fixed time, so you might wish to consider other options and find the right deal for you.

The best way to choose a new energy supplier is to carry out an energy price comparison, and follow the simple steps to switch. Once complete, Panda will issue your final bill. Any remaining credit on your account will be refunded.
