Switching to eir is quick and easy:
- Choose a plan and provide your details, including your current provider.
- You’ll receive an email confirming your order.
- An eir agent will call to confirm availability and complete the setup.
- If you change your mind, you can cancel within 14 days.
- Once your transfer is complete, cancel any Direct Debits with your previous provider.

Can I get Netflix on eir TV?
Yes, you can access Netflix through the eir TV 4K box and app, though a separate Netflix subscription is required.
How do I get Amazon Prime with eir?
Amazon Prime is included with eir TV bundles at no extra cost. You’ll receive details by email after activation on how to link your Prime account or create a new one.
What happens to my eir broadband or eir TV if I move home?
You can transfer your eir service to a new address, subject to availability.
Contact eir’s support team to arrange the move and confirm coverage at your new location.
Fill in the Moving House form and the Home Move team will get in contact with you.
How do I cancel my eir contract?
Contact eir customer care to request cancellation. You can cancel free of charge within 14 days of sign-up under the cooling-off period.
- If you’re within your minimum contract period, early termination fees may apply.
- You must allow 30 days’ notice, even if switching providers, unless your specific contract references otherwise.
- When you cancel your service(s), you must return any eir TV and broadband equipment to eir within 30 days following your cancellation date
- In case of any problems, keep evidence, i.e., keep a record of calls, obtain confirmations in writing, and consider using registered posts as backup.
