Vodafone TV PLAY is Vodafone’s TV box with cinematic sound and pictures, 100s of channels and streaming services all in one place.
With the Vodafone TV box, you can access streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ and get a subscription to NOW TV, some in 4K Ultra HD.

What channels can you get with Vodafone TV PLAY?
All Vodafone TV bundles come with over 100 TV channels.
With Vodafone TV PLAY, you can watch all of the Irish and UK channel favourites, most in super sharp HD at no extra cost. Plus enjoy all the RTÉ, BBC, Channel 4 and Virgin Media channels and Kids’ Zone, news, documentaries, sports and movies.
Watch Sky channels like Sky Sports and Sky Atlantic for less with a TV package that includes a NOW TV membership. Get Sky channels like Sky Showcase, Sky Max and Premier Sports channels by opting for a Broadband & TV Now Entertainment or Broadband + TV Now Sports plan.
What sports channels are included?
All of Vodafone’s broadband & TV bundles come with the following sports channels:
- Sky Sports Racing
- Eurosport 1
- Eurosport 2
If you’re looking for more Sports action, the Broadband & TV Now Sports bundle gives you access to 11 Sky Sports channels. Pay more for a membership pass to NOW TV Sport Extra.
For Virgin Media Sports, you’ll need to sign up directly with Virgin Media, and access the content via their app.
Can you watch Vodafone TV PLAY in more than one room?
Yes, but you’ll need to pay extra for Vodafone TV multi-room which allows other household members to watch a different channel in another room.
You’ll need to contact Live Chat at Vodafone support or call to purchase additional boxes.

Vodafone offers some helpful extras to ensure your internet connection is rock solid and secure from just €5 per month.
Do Vodafone mobile customers get discounts?
The RED Family discount rewards customers for having multiple plans with Vodafone.
Customers who are on a RED mobile plan with multiple bill pay subscriptions and/or a fixed broadband line are eligible to receive a €20 monthly discount on their bill.
So, if you have three or more contracts with Vodafone (up to 6 permitted), for example, two bill pay subscriptions and a fixed broadband line, and pay for all services on one bill, you’ll get €20 monthly discount and save a minimum of €240 per year.
The offer is available to new and existing customers, and broadband and mobile services will need to be linked to the same account holder. Terms and conditions apply.
Switching to Vodafone
Switching to Vodafone is simple. Just choose which plan you’re interested in and fill in a few details, including your contact information and current provider.
What happens next?
- We’ll email you confirming the details of your order
- You’ll receive a phone call from Vodafone
- They’ll confirm you are in a service area for your chosen plan and complete your order
- If you change your mind, you can cancel your switch within 14 days
Contact your current provider to check you’re free to switch and give them the required notice. Once the switch happens, you can cancel any Direct Debits with your current provider.
Vodafone Broadband & TV FAQs
Can I add TV to an existing Vodafone broadband plan?
Yes, you can add Vodafone TV PLAY to any broadband plan, as long as your broadband speed is over 20Mbps. However, Vodafone TV is not available as a standalone plan, so you’ll need to bundle it with broadband.
How do I cancel my Vodafone broadband plan?
If you’re within the 14 day cooling-off period, you can cancel by calling Vodafone’s customer service or using the cancellation form linked to in their terms and conditions.
If you’re outside of the cooling off period and within your contract term, you must give 30 days notice by phone or in writing, but you’ll also be charged early termination fees.
If your contract has ended, you can just give 30 days notice in writing or by calling customer services.
What is Vodafone Super WiFi?
It’s a smart WiFi extension that boosts internet connectivity by delivering reliable WiFi coverage to every corner of your home.
Super WiFi works together with your Gigabox modem to eliminate blackspots and optimise WiFi no matter where you are in the house. You can add it to your Fibre Broadband package for a small monthly fee.
What is Vodafone Always Connected?
It’s a 4G backup for when your broadband suffers disruption.
If you experience any problems with your broadband connection, Always Connected will automatically switch all your devices to a 4G connection so you don’t lose access to the internet. When the problem is resolved it will switch back to broadband as before.
