Who is my electricity and gas supplier?
Not sure who your energy supplier is? Don’t panic, it’s pretty easy to find out who supplies gas and electricity to your home.
Who supplies my electricity?
If you live in shared accommodation and don’t deal directly with the bills, or you just haven’t read your energy bill in while, it’s possible you may not know who supplies electricity to your home. If this is the case, it’s likely you haven’t switched in a while and could save by doing so.
In order to switch, you will need to know the name of your supplier. If you don’t have access to a bill, but someone you live with looks after the bills, ask them for the most recent bill, which will tell you who your supplier is. If you can’t get your hands on a bill, you can call ESB Networks on 1850 372 757 or email them on email@example.com to find out.
Who supplies my gas?
As with electricity, if you don’t know who supplies your gas, it’s likely you haven’t switched in a while and could make big savings by doing so. If you can’t find a recent bill, and no-one you live with knows who your gas supplier is, you can contact Gas Networks Ireland on 1850 200 694 or firstname.lastname@example.org to find out.
Who supplies my dual fuel?
If you have both gas and electricity in your home, you may be signed up to the same supplier for both. The first thing to do if you need to find out who supplies your energy is to try and find a recent bill, which will clearly show the name of your supplier.
If this isn’t possible, you should ring ESB Networks on 1850 372 757 to find out who supplies your electricity, and Gas Networks Ireland on 1850 200 694 to find out who supplies your gas.
