UPC has launched a series of new bundle deals for customers looking for broadband, TV and telephone services.

For users who are watching their cash, UPC’s cheapest bundle ‘The Essential Bundle-Limited’ costs just €59.00 a month. This deal comes with broadband speeds of up to 50Mb which is six times faster than eircom’s 8Mb basic broadband speed as well a Digital+ box complete with 80 channels and 100 minutes of free calls to Irish mobiles, landlines and 21 international destinations. The broadband usage allowance with this deal is capped at 10GB per month.

Customers also benefit from Catch Up TV and UPC TV On Demand.

The bundle also comes with a free wireless router but you will be required to pay a once-off €90.00 installation fee. The €90.00 fee covers the setup of your broadband, digital TV and home phone services. Customers are required to sign-up to a 12-month contract. The offer is available to new and existing customers.

And for those who want a little bit more speed, for an extra €5.00 a month they can upgrade to 100Mb.

UPC’s move to offer customers a new light “Limited” bundle is launched in direct response to Sky launching their new “Sky Entertainment Lite” bundle which costs €57 a month but only offers speeds up to 24Mb and a 2GB data allowance.

Customers looking for an unlimited broadband, TV and home phone bundle can avail of UPC’s ‘The Essential Bundle’. This bundle costs just €50 a month for the first six months with the price rising to €66 a month after that.

The new bundles are available from today. Mark Coan, Sales & Marketing Director, UPC Ireland said “We continue to offer our customers speeds that are a world away from other market players, starting at a guaranteed 50Mb. We can do this because of our unique fibre powered network, which last year we demonstrated could run at an extraordinary 1.4Gb to the home.”
