Virgin Media and TV3 secure rights to all UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches
The deal covers the next three years
This morning, Virgin Media and TV3 announced they have signed an agreement with UEFA and secured Irish rights to all Champions League and Europa League matches.
The deal includes exclusive rights to Wednesday UEFA Champions League matches, all Thursday UEFA Europa League matches and the Finals of both competitions for the next three years. Rights for the 16 Tuesday night UEFA Champion League matches will be shared.
The deal comes into effect in August this year, and in total will mean almost 350 matches will be shown across both competitions per season.
