What information do I need to provide to sign up?

What is an eSIM and how does it work?
An eSIM is a digital version of the traditional plastic SIM card. Instead of sliding a physical chip into a tray, the SIM is already built into your phone’s hardware. Compared to a physical SIM, it’s a faster way to get on board because there is no waiting for a card to arrive in the post.
After ordering your eSIM online, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a QR code to activate it. Depending on your phone model, follow the instructions to activate your eSIM. You’ll need a WifI or mobile data connection to complete the process
How do I transfer my current number to Lyca Mobile?
You’ll need your new Lyca Mobile number and SIM card details (ICCID number) and details of the number you want to keep. Go to Lyca Mobile’s ‘transfer your number’ page and follow these steps:
- Confirm your new Lyca Mobile number and ICCID number
- Confirm the number you want to keep
- Verify your number with a one time passcode
You’ll get a confirmation message with a reference number for your request. Bear in mind that your services will be interrupted on the day and time you’ve selected until porting is completed.
