Sign up by 6 April and get 50% off the NOW TV Sky Cinema and Entertainment passes
There is also 40% of the Sports Pass between now and 9 April.
We’re fast approaching the Easter holidays now, which means time off school/college/work.
So, what better time to try out NOW TV, the streaming service from Sky? Like Netflix, this service allows users to stream content without being tied into a lengthy contract. There are three passes to choose from:
Right now, there are discounts available on all three passes, so if you’re undecided about streaming, it could be a good way to give it a try.
Save €15 on the Sky Cinema pass
If you sign up between now and 6 April, you can get the Sky Cinema pass half-price for the first two months, which means it’ll cost you €7.50 per month, rather than €15.
This pass is perfect for cinema fans, with over 1,000 movies on demand, including the latest blockbusters, and a new premiere every day. The Pass also gives viewers access to movie favourites, such as Forrest Gump, The Godfather and Groundhog Day.
Half-price Entertainment Pass
If you’re not a movie lover, but you like a good binge-watch, the half-price Entertainment Pass might be for you. Again, this is currently reduced to €7.50 per month for the first two months, saving you €15.
This pass will allow you to watch shows like Game of Thrones and Big Little Lies, as well as access over 250 box sets on demand. You’ll also get access to 10 channels not available on free-to-air, such as Sky Atlantic, Sky Living, Discovery Channel and MTV.
Save €63 with a 3-month discount on the NOW TV Sports Pass
The NOW TV Sports Pass gives you access to the live sporting action on all seven Sky Sports channels.
Usually, you can sign up for a Day Pass for €10, a Week Pass for €15, or get a Month Pass for €50. However, if you sign up to the Sky Sports Monthly Pass between now and 9 April you will get it for just €29 per month for the first three months - a saving of €63.
If you sign up now, you’ll also catch the rest of the Premier League season, as well as the Masters, and the best action from the Guinness Pro 14.
No contract, no hassle
With all of these offers, you won’t be tied into a contract, so you can cancel at any time. You can also get a 14-day free trial of the Sky Cinema and Entertainment Passes if you just want to try out NOW TV before signing up.
Watching NOW TV - how does it work?
Watching NOW TV is very straightforward. Once you choose a Pass and sign up, you just choose your preferred device - you can watch on your PC, Mac, as well as on iOS and Android phones or tablets - and start streaming.
If you don’t have a suitable device for streaming, you could try the NOW TV Box, which essentially turns your TV into a Smart TV. This costs €25 and comes with a HDMI cable to hook it up directly to your TV.
In terms of the speeds required for streaming, NOW TV requires a minimum download speed of 2.5Mbps, 3G or 4G.
