UPC customers are poised to benefit from a range of new channels and television programmes after the company announced details of their latest deal with Fox.

The introduction of FOX HD (Channel 126) and Fox +1 (Channel 166) will offer UPC customers the chance to enjoy the full FOX experience even more.

Alongside other FOX programmes, which are already hugely popular, such as The Walking Dead, two brand new shows have been added to the line-up to celebrate the news.

The Spoils Of Babylon and Mob City are expected to become firm favourites among fans of the channel, with the shows set to satisfy fans of both comedy and gangster genres.

The Spoils Of Babylon features an all-star cast including Will Ferrell, Tobey Maguire and Jessica Alba among others. The show follows the lavish adventures of the Morehouse family and has been adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name.

Mob City is expected to fill the void left by The Sopranos when that legendary gangster show came to a conclusion. Set in 1940s Los Angeles, Mob City focuses on the gangster scene which was prevalent at the time and is based on a number of real-life accounts from people who were around at the time. Ed Burns (Saving Private Ryan) and Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead) star in what is sure to be a big hit with viewers everywhere.

The new channels will form part of the overall Horizon TV service and it is worth noting that viewers will also now be able to series-link their favourite shows across the full service.

New subscribers can avail of the channels for €34.50 per month as part of UPC ‘s Digital Select Extra and Digital Max TV packages while existing UPC customers can enjoy FOX 1 and FOX HD at no extra cost.
